"This week we shall have a nice mix of blues and psychedelia. Joining me i have the lovely Jessie Houston hosting the evening with me filling the night with the light sounds of Mellowkotzen and a nice dose of blues.Also, a special performance by Stereo Moon shall occur adding a healthy dose of pleasant psychedelic pop. Come on down to the ol` Atria! Pitchers of Canadian are 10 dollars!"

Tonight Bruce and I will try to work out the kinks of some new songs for the Stereo Moon happening at The RMG September 2nd for their First Fridays event.

In Effigy to Scenic Happenings, We Applaud b/w Requiem for the Non Believers can now be downloaded for free, to your right. A new digital only single from Stereo Moon and hopefully more on the way. There is talk of another collaboration with The Stables on one of those singles as aforementioned. Broken Arts, a local arts collective in Oshawa, is celebrating 2 years of existence. An epic all day event of music, art and food, Broken Arts Fest 2011, happens July 16th at Memorial Park in Oshawa. Stereo Moon plays at 12:20. We'll have some CD's and pins for sale. Plan a trip to Oshawa and come enjoy a day of music and art.

About two weeks from now I'll be opening up the Purple Hill show at the El Mocambo. I will be playing a short solo set. I still have some copies left of The Inbreds tribute album so I'll bring some to sell. As well as 'Like The Morning Sun Does' homemade CD-R's. They look like mini vinyl albums.

Kill Mommy Re-issuing Morning Sun

A collection of older songs I put together back in 2005 has been revived with help from the free download net label Kill Mommy Records. Based in Italy, Kill Mommy Records is the new online home for 'Like The Morning Sun Does'. Now people will be able to hear the songs "til the end of time". Or atleast my time. Hopefully. Who cares, trip the fuck out. Am I right? Of course I am. I will also be making a homemade CD-R version available for purchase. The release is happening Feb 7th.

I am still trying to find the funds to record my magnum opus, 'Travel To All The Lovely Fields'. It will be a grand production so I want to make sure I get it right. These kind of songs and in the right sequence, do not come around often. In the meantime I plan on making one more home-recorded album for old time sakes. Probably an EP.
